first period

How was your first post baby period. I'm 8 weeks out and strickly pumping but I'm weening myself off it to formula only. I'm not sure if Its a period or not. I'm having dark brownish mucusy stringy clots. Kinda like normal with a period. Also how king does it take for your milk to completely dry up?

    My milk dried up really fast. I pumped and right away stopped after that and I wasnt making anymore. I had my period 4weeks PP and it was really heavy with mean blood clots! The stringy discharge youre having is probably from labor.
