Im 40+2 today, need this baby out already and I dont want to get induced.

Can the doctor induce you if you dont want to? I dont have any complications, baby is doing fine and I dont want to end uo with a csection.

I do not think the doctor can induce you if you decline. Doing something to you that you do not want is assault. 40 weeks is the average. If there are no interventions, many women would go past 40 weeks.

At 42 weeks yes they can induce even if you don't want to. Lots can go wrong at or after 42 weeks.

Well I was one week overdue with my first and there was no talk of induction at all...i didn't bring it up either did the doctor. I just went into labor at 41 weeks

I guess it depends on The doctor

@kayleigh27 im 1cm dilated said she could stretch me to a 2cm and cervix was soft. This was on Friday.
