If you breastfeed you can use your breastmilk If not there isn't much you can do. It comes and goes There was a theory that it was caused from baby getting moms hormones but I think that has been thrown out. I personally think its just babys skin trying to get used to everything it comes in contact with. It should stop/ slow down as your baby gets older.
My baby have been having it on and off for a month now. Most of it cleared up. It comes n goes so dont pop it or use anything for it. It might make it worse
I read online that besides breast milk you can mix together a tsp of honey and a tsp of lemon juice put it on the affected area for 15 minutes then wash off.
Just keep the skin away from other skin contact. Use blankets if her face is in contact with your skin. I use a cream called babyganics bye bye dry and its done wonders on his acne and eczema.
Mine is 6 weeks as well and just started getting it too. Breast milk is helping, but awake is also worse than asleep. (Crying gets everything red and irritated)
U know what? i figured out what some of it is from! when bd kisses her he scratches her with his facial hair! gives her a rash! but she still has quite a bit of acne
