venting

edited February 2011 in Pregnant
I really really dislike how one of my friends has made plans to see me every week since I've known I was preggers and then blows me off. If it was once or twice I wouldn't mind but it is happened a lot of times in the past few weeks. She keeos saying she wants to be an aunt but has even told me, that me not being able to drink hinders our relationship. She has even called me drunk to rub it in my face what she is drinking and thst she wanted my baby dady to go out with her. Uggh. Poeple can be so immature.

  • That's really sad. She doesn't sound like a true friend to me.....
  • I have a friend like that. Like she was pissed I couldn't drive 2 hours to her apt so we could have drinks and girl time. So annoying
  • i know the feeling, ppl just don't seem to realize how much things change once you become pregnant but since its not happening to them they don't seem to care or understand
  • I don't hang out with anyone but family anymore because I'm tired of flaky "friends" its not worth the stress
  • @coolbabybeans I think that is a choice I'm going to be making. Its just to much to have someone pretend to be a friend.
  • That person does not even sound like a friend. I'd kick her back to acquaintance status
  • That's mean:( my good friend is the same she's made because I can't go out n party or drink she's always trying to make me feel like a bad friend n she knows how to get to me:( she always says your pregnant not crippled she tells me it just an excess and if I don't want her as a friend to let her know I mean she has a kid of her own I want to raise mine don't want other ppl to n she doesn't get it I think your better off with true friends who r happy your pregnant not sad for u
  • mment excuse sorry my phone is so not a smart phone
  • @crumbledcookie after I became pregnant I realized i could have been more supportive of my friends whem they were pregnant. As far as the drinkin goes tho that friend doesnt sound that great
