Being Induced tomorrow then having tubes tied.... PAIN????

I know we have had a lot of these post lately. I now totally understand where these ladies are coming from ;-) yup I am nervous not from meeting my little girl but knowing that Pitocin will make the contractions worse (from what I hear and have seen with my best friend) Right after baby is born I am being tested for fibromyalgia (SP) the contractions I have been having for over a month have been enough to double me over but they do not even register on the machine!!! GRRRR I use to have a huge pain tolerance not now (thank you drunk driver!!) I am also getting my tubes tied before I leave the hospital I once have heard this hurts....Has anyone had this done right after a vaginal birth and if so how much pain did you have?
I go in at 7:30 tomorrow morning PST so I know have 23 hours yup the countdown has begun unless she decides to grace us with her presence today which would be totally OK with me :-D so far I have thought everyday would be a great birthday but today is my nephew's 4th birthday!! Tomorrow would be 6 months to the day from her Daddy's birthday and 6 months since the accident. I know I am ramblina and thank you for taking the time to read this I am just really really really nervous....
Can you ladies let me know what your experience was with getting your tubes tied did it hurt? I have been reading a lot of induction stories on here lately and it seems like a lot have ended up in C sections. My first was not a c section and she came on her own 2 weeks early I was only in actual hard labor for 11 mins and she was here with 3 pushes. This one yeah I have a feeling I am looking at long hours of PAIN and I have a feeling she is going to be big. My first was barely 6 pounds and 18 in long she wore preemie clothes for the first month. This one well I am hoping she is not going to come out at 7 ft tall LOL!!!
My Dr has never told me how big he thinks she is going to be nor has he mentioned a weight. I have always measured either within the actualy week that I am in or a week behind- have no idea if this matters? I am guessing from what I have seen on here if she was going to be the jolly green giant then I would be measuring like 47 weeks by now--LMAO.
Ok so my little nervous chatter is coming to an end thanks for reading ladies just one nervous mommy to the next....
One more nervous thought...Pray she comes out from all of her tests normal we dont know how bad the accident might have hurt her and all the medication they have been pumping through me since what this has done to her..Please pray that she is healthy and everything will be ok with her. These drunk drivers already have taken so much from me please dont let them take my little girl's health too!!!

  • I pray that everything turns out the way it should! I understand your nervousness..I think we are all nervous about something. Bringing another life in the world isn't easy or should it be taken lightly! I am glad you and baby are doing well after your accident, my uncle was killed by a drunk driver in feb and left behind a wife and 4 month old...so I am happy that you beat the odds! Good luck tomorrow!

@kyliemommie No I haven't been able to do my birth story but here is a quick low down :D I got to hospital @ 7:30 by 9:30 had my epi I love my Dr he said because of my pain I could have one at anytime. 10:00 they broke my water I was only at a 4 and 90% effaced. By noon they figured out my complaining was for real I could still feel some major pain in my left side ribs (the ones I broke) she was stuck under them the nurse pushed and moved me around till we got her unlodged. By 1 I went from a 4 to a 10 started pushing pushed for almost 45 minutes and she wasn't moving. Dr realized she was sunny side up and told me we had to get her out now! If in 3 pushes she wasn't out I would be on my way for c section. He took the forceps and OMG that is the worse pain ever!!! With in 2 pushes and salad tongs my little girl was born at 2:11 pm 12/5/11. Skylar Isabella Louise
