Help my son got his 2 month shots:(

And he is extremely fussy and crying nonstop, we've tried undressing him, we've been holding him since we came home, I tried swaddling him and nothing helps. Is something hurting him? He doesn't have a high temperature. What did you do to help comfort your LO?

Have you tried tylenol? Even when my daughter doesn't have a fever after her shots ill give her some it seems to calm her down and the pain she has.

@navybabyonway- I did give him the generic Tylenol since there is still a recall on Tylenol here.

I'd do tylenol to . An wen my daughter is like that I give her a bath then message her wit lotion get her dressd real warm swaddle her, dim the lights an hold her real close to me an she goes rite to sleep .

Maybe pain? The shots do that to them even if no fever is present. My baby got hers today was only fussy right after but been sleeping allday. I gave her a lil motrin her dr prescribed for pain & fever.

My bff's daughter just got her shots last week too and she was fussy for a few days, nothing would really calm her down :-( Poor Julian, I wish I could be of more help but I have no idea myself, I think its just that they are sore in the injection site. Hope he feels better soon!

Yeah I was gonna say try a warm bath to help relax him maybe.

The bath would be a good thing to try too maybe with lavender if you have it since its calming. Keep up the pain/fever reducer every 4 hours.

Also my dr told me to massage around the injection sites every so often so it doesn't knot up since babies this age don't move as much.

I think so... :-( ...or maybe her baby is just fussy lol, which she is alot of the time.

My daughter is only 4 weeks so she hasn't gotten her shots yet , but with my son when he would go get his shots I would give him Tylenol 20 min before he would get his shots so it would kick in right before the pain & fever . It always worked with me hope that helps .

Lots of cuddles something for pain and fever is all you can do. My little girl had her first shots today and just wants lots of cuddles. Here in my state in aust shots are getting done at 6 weeks because whooping cough is really bas right now,

Yes she did, she was crying at the top of her lungs but shes been sleeping n when shes awake she cries a lil. I just rubbed monkey balm on her tummy it makes it warm n she falls asleep to it

Yes, I luv it. My mom used it on me since I was born. It even helps heal the baby soft spot on their head faster n its good to put on their tummy after a bath it soothes them. I put it on my stomach wen it hurts or if im on my period

Aww that breaks my heart:( you think they wake up like that because they remember getting poked? I told the nurse that gave him his vaccines "my son will remember you forever and not in a good way"...lol
