Folic Acid tablets, HELP!

After a trip to the doctors on tuesday i have these folic acid tablets to take everyday for the next few weeks..problem is i cant take tablets, i just cant swalllow them..
can i take them by chewing them with food and washing it down with water?
i cut them in half but they dont like to go down for ages..:/

    I have the same problem, but solved by putting tablets in a spoon of Danone dessert. Maybe it works for you as well!
