I'm 5 weeks 3 days and have been using 1 kind of test. I tested this morning and quickly my pos came up and it's extremely dark. I was wondering if that means there's a lot of the hormone. Even with my daughter when I found out at 7 weeks, my test wasn't this dark (used same text with her) Could it mean something? I was a twin, they run in my family and in my fiancé's (identical twin brothers) could it be a sign or anything? I wouldn't be upset but was just shocked at how dark it was compared to the control line at such an early stage. What's your opinion? Thanks!

@ashleyfew ok thanks!!! just thought it was odd. Some sites said the stronger the hormone, the darker the line and some said no. That's why I wanted to hear yall's opinions.

My test looked the same when I tested again at 6 or 8 weeks. The test line came up immediately and was much darker than the control. I used an FRER. But you never know in your case!

My test looked like that at 4 weeks everyday the line will get darker

My test was darker then the second line by 4w and like 4d and I'm having one. But you went to the dr and had your hcg checked and if it were twins I think maybe it would have been higher then it was. But I could be wrong! Twins run in my family too, my husband would freak!

my hubbys sister just had twins. It's always been a dream of mine to have some, however he thinks it would be a night mare but it wouldn't really! Before our u/s I would make comments he said "don't even joke like that" lol

@babyluv8 haha! You know once reality kicked in, he'd be ok and then once they were born, he'd be in love. Lol
