As I sit here having mild contractions...

It occurs to me that I am not ready to go into labor. lol I am 36 weeks (in 2 hours) and I haven't washed the baby's clothes yet, I haven't packed a hospital bag, and we haven't assembled the pack n' play yet. lol It never occurred to me that I might go into labor on my own as I was induced with my first. I don't anticipate going into full blown labor tonight, but I should really get prepared for this beans arrival!

    If u think u might go early...get it done lol. I'm gonna be 39 weeks this sunday and today I just finished washing all the clothes...i set up all her stuff on tuesday and I'm still not done packing my hospital bag. I'm not even sure what I need to bring.

    @myheartzx3 lol I would get motivated to wash the clothes, but I'm cleaning the shower. haha I went 8 days over with my son and never felt the contractions that helped me dilate to 2cms & 70%...so this is all new to me!

    And yes...I would freeze my bum off in Ohio! lol

    has bad as i was haha on partner told me I've got to pack my bag or he's doin it so i did it at 38 weeks, cot went up at 37 weeks (he did that) lol

    I decided to wash some of the clothes...lol. I'm sure my neighbors upstairs won't be thrilled, but hey...we pay enough to live here, so I will wash laundry when I want to. :)

    lol at least the rain stopped! Idk if its just cus I'm fat now but I felt kind of hot today hahaha

    yeah just do little by little...that's what I did. I think u got some time left. What hospital are u gonna deliver at?

    I keep telling my bf to put the infant carseat base in and he still hasn't..its still sitting there in the box. I'll make sure he does that tomorrow

    It's been humid all day and it's warm in my house. :( Hubby is AF, so I'm delivering at Tripler. I've heard the stories, but so far it's been a good experience. What about you?

    Ya...our carseat is still in the box, I'll install it tomorrow probably. This being my second baby...I've got that under control. lol

    I over packed last time. lol Hopefully it doesn't take me long to pack. :)

    @tricesbaby hospital freebies are the BEST! I walked away with 2 packages of newborn size diapers 2 packages of size 1 diapers. I'm bf so they loaded me up with all the breast pump equipment everything but the pump which was awesome. I also have to supplement so they gave me 12 bottles of ready made formula. 2 little shirts 3 hats hmmm I'm thinking that might be it. The nurses came in and said if its not nailed down take it home :) oh yeah pads the ice ones, tucks a big jar of them, also a diaper bag (complimentary)
    My bag really besides maybe a special brand of pads pack like your taking a lazy getaway pack comfy clothes and hard candy is awesome to suck on cause they won't give u food till baby gets here. Makeup toiletries and lotion the hospital soap killed my hands that is the one thing I forgot. Camera if your phone doesn't have a good one.

    u will be fine. I haven't heard any new stories for years now lol. I'm going to kaiser. Alot of people think kapiolani and queens are the best but I delivered both my older kids at kaiser and had no problems at all...my deliveries went the smoothest of all my cousins n sisters. I think queens maternity center is so beautiful tho hahaha

    About the carseat I leave that kinda stuff for my bf to do even tho I should be able to myself lol

    @tricesbaby I love freebies too! The nurses told me before once u open it its urs (like the bottle packs n diapers) so ima open everything

    @myheartzx3 I've heard Queens is amazing and sadly, after feeling rushed by my doc today, I wish I had switched when I had time. I apparently gained like 8lbs in 2&1/2 weeks...no big deal to him. I measured a week behind 2&1/2 weeks ago, now I'm a week ahead. The only good thing to come of my appt is I am fingertip dilated & very soft...still posterior though so being checked hurt like hell!

    Then the traffic on the way home...UGH! How hard is it to merge? Use a turn signal? Not stop at a green light? I'm going back to bed before any more idiots find me. lol
