Ladies please help me out

edited December 2011 in Loss
So this year in august I lost my baby girl at 21 weeks, cause was a cord accident so they say. I didnt really get any answers to anything, for one I was to upset, and then I really didnt kno anything about it. But now that I think I'm pregnant I need some questions to ask my doctor on my first visit, because I really want to kno if any thing else caused it. What are some questions I need to ask my doctor?

  • And some things I might can do to help prevent another mc
  • Just ask ur dr if there was anything else that caused it. more than likely though theres really no reason for it. sometimes the way a baby moves can put a knot in it or kink it somewhere or it can wrap around the babies neck. :(
  • @kayleigh27 thanks the cord was wrapped around the baby neck
  • Sorry for ur loss ask them what level of activity u should b doing ...r u considered high risk & if so can u b referred to a high risk specialist
  • I agree with trying to see a high risk doctor. After my 2nd miscarriage @ 17 weeks I Went to a high risk doc and He Did some testing and found part of my problem was a blood Clotting disorder. It wouldn't hurt to check one out.

  • @3rdtimepreg I also have a blood clotting disorder.. I have had 3 mc and my dr did some extra tests for me. I am currently ttc and my dr said i will be on heparin shots and baby asprin daily when i conceive.

@prayinforagirl i would express to your dr about your worries and ask if they are able to do further blood testing. Its nerve racking being preggo after a loss and you are gonna worry but try your best to not get stressed! Good luck! Sticky baby dust to you. :)
  • For sure get into a high risk doc!!! Hang in there, if u feel they r not giving u the attention u need, keep looking for the rright doc. Good luck! :)
