What can you eat if you want to get pregnant?

edited January 2011 in Trying to conceive
Hi, I'm trying to get pregnant and me friend told me that I had to stop eating swiss and french cheese. Something to do with germs. Is this true?

  • Hi there Andrea, when you are trying to get pregnant you can eat anything you want, but you want to eat healthy. Lots of greens and fruit is advisable. Also recommended, stop drinking, smoking or other kind of drugs three months before you start trying for a baby. The moment you are pregnant it's time to let the foreign raw cheeses and meat and some fish, aside. In raw meat and cheese is a bacterie that could me harmful for your unborn baby.
