edited December 2011 in Trying to conceive
Hi! My name is Mandy and I'm new to Pregly. I'm currently trying to conceive. Me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years now. I love him and he's the most amazing man! We've had or ups and downs but I know in my heart its for keeps. We recently had a rocky patch that shook our relationship to the core. I have an identical twin sister. And about 5 months ago during our birthday party we were all drunk. I woke up the next afternoon on our couch. I go to move to the bedroom and he's laying in the bed with my sister! Clearly, at first I was mad and it turned into this huge argument and things were pretty bad for weeks. I then realized that it wasn't that serious. We were indeed all drunk and Molly and I are in fact identical. It was an honest mistake. Well soon after things had settled Molly found out she was pregnant. It could either be my hubby's or her boyfriends. But right now all the arguing is still being pushed to the side. What's important is the well being of that baby. And if it is indeed My bf's he will take very good care of it and I will love him as well. I do struggle with this everyday but I've learned to forgive them both. Now he and I are trying to conceive our own love child. I'm so excited! But enough about me! Tell me about yourself!

  • OMG...OMG... :O ...thats true love on your part, I would have killed BOTH of them.
  • Wow good to meet u I'm Connie I'm 7 weeks I have a 17.week.old I live in Houston
  • I'm new too! Af due Jan. 2nd. How crazy!
  • In the beginning I did feel that way. He and I had been trying to conceive prior to this for a little while but when nothing happened we gave up. Then he sleeps with her one time that I know of and BAM she may be pregnant by him. I don't get it. I've been wanting a child of my own for so long. I'm so happy he's willing to give me the same precious gift he may have given her.

  • Wow and if you did end up getting pregnant and it is HIS baby how will you explain this to your kids?
  • Well in that case we'll have no problem explaining it to the children. It's something that happened and can't be taken back. If the baby is indeed his then I hope they have an awesome sibling bond.

Mandy...is your sisters boyfriend your husbands identical twin brother? Because otherwise, shes a dirty hoe.
  • Does your sister know what happened?

  • No my boyfriend and hers barely know each other. I don't think she's a hoe at all! I think they were just both caught up in a moment of weakness. And yes my sister is aware of what happened.
  • Not to be rude but do you know country songs? I just got an image of Red Solo Cup video. Yeah, drinking can have some crazy side effects!
  • Hi Mandy. I have to agree with @captainmorgaine on this one. Your sister is a straight ho fo sho. She wasn't that drunk. Think back, has she ever shown an unnatural obsession with your man. And is he your hubby or boyfriend? Pick one.
  • You guys just don't understand. I would do anything for this man. I don't think he meant to sleep with her at all. I've been no angel through this relationship. I've back talked him, yelled at him, I've even let the house get a little messy from time to time. so I look at this whole incident as something I had coming.
  • oh wow you guys are rude.

  • @captainmorgaine well I was thinking the same thing but didn't have the guts to say it lol...not trying to me mean to @mturner but it does not matter how drunk either of them were it is not ok...so now everytime your bf gets drunk you're gonna have to worry he will have sex with other girls?
  • Well I hope the best for you!! If you forgive them then that's all that matters! :)

ok this one seems a little fishy now...

  • Any man who couldn't tell his identicle twin gf from her sister is a douche....
  • I think you're being blind to the truth. Don't excuse his behavior. I bet they're still screwing since she's already pregnant. What's your work schedule like?
  • It was her TWIN people, not a random girl! Stop being so mean!
  • I don't listen to country music.
Tishj330 I mean they've hung out quite a bit and they text each other but that's about it. He does attend her doctors appointments and we have bought some things for the baby. I wouldn't say they have an unnatural obsession for each other. But he and I aren't married but we may as well be. But I am keeping my fingers crossed for the ring.

  • Thanks. We've been trying so I hope to get a positive really soon.
  • Whats fishy?
  • But its ok. Alot of people don't understand the story. He and I will have his back through thick and thin and I know he will do the same for me.
