birth announcement
So last Saturday at 11:45 I gave birth to my beautiful little Lilium Meabh (pronounced may-ve we went with the old Irish spelling, hoping that since it is a middle name it won't cause much issue at school) she was born a little early and is a tiny little thing at 5 lbs. 4oz. And only 18 inches long. She is very heathly and was able to go home with me on Monday. The only downside is I refused to believe that I was in labor for so long, do to very painful past bouts of braxton Hicks, that I was only at the hospital for an hour before I had to deliver her, meaning no epidural or pain killers at all.
Big brother Victor has been very helpful and excited, but a bit disappointed that mom was right and she wasn't born ready to play tag.
