fever 38.8

Hi ladies, my baby boy has got afever of 38.8. I have given him calpol 5ml and ibubrofen 2.5ml to bring it down. The thing is we went to the gp on Tuesday for ear and throat infection and was given antibiotics to treat the infection. He didn't have a fever then but has one now. What do you all think.

Haven't had to deal with this yet sorry did you call pediatrician lol that's what I would do.

Yes they said he is trying to fight something off but should continue with the antibiotics. I think he is teething

U can try to cool him down with a wet towel n don't put too much cothes on him (in the house of course)

@ripkaydence Anything above 37.5°C is a fever not sure what it is in °F though

That's about 101 close to 102 in Fahrenheit. Where did u get that, under the arm?

*my paper says 101.8, under arm would be 102.8

No I got the temperature reading from his ear @kayycarter. And any way ladies his temperature is back to normal now. Thank you ladies my pregly family
