@dra765 in PA they just have to be born before the end of the year and it is a thousand. I think it is the same everywhere but im not sure. I know you can google it there is a gov website that lists it all.
I never got my daughters social security card so I'm waiting on that to file, but based off of the Turbo Tax Taxcaster, I'm getting back around $8400. I am beyond excited, I am thinking about taking my babies on a nice vacation this summer or fall!!
Dang, and I thought I was good at $8g's lol. With my son, I averaged about $5k a year. Of course, either my car took a crap or I had some kind of big expense come up so I never had that money to play with. I'm praying this year is good to me and I can have enough put away for a nice Christmas! I would love to spend Christmas in Disneyland or something, that would be so much fun!
@LilSugarsMomma that wuld be soo awesome! I had my Suprise 3rd baby in Oct so now I have to spend it on a suv:( I wuld love to be able to put it in the bank or jus play wit a little of it !
It's $1,000 per child in NY. But if you have low income you can get earned income credit, and other credits equaling up to about $5,000. Plus your normal refund from your wages.
@roxy the more dependents you claim, the less they take out. But you don't have to change that if you don't want to. What matters is how you claim when you file for your refund.
Ok I only worked a couple of months this year cause I stopped when I got prego cause it was too much...if I wanted can I claim my boyfriend who didn't work at all this year @starrxoxo9
@newmomma13 I know you directed that towards someone else, but no, you cannot claim him. Unless he's disabled or under 24 and a full time student, nobody can claim him but himself.
Gosh....how do you ladies get so much money back????? I have to most taken out of my and hubby's checks and we never have gotten over $4,000 (with 1 kid)
