Ok so my baby girl is going to b 6 months barely but wanted to start getting stuff for her 1st bday party so it doesnt get all stack up on when its one month left. I mean theres still time but this 6 months left for her to b 1 yr old is gonna go by fast.

Just wondering.. How many of u did a first birthday party to your lo? What theme? And how much did u waste?

I did my son's party at a play cafe (dont know if you have them there) so no theme, only did a cake and nibbles for the kids and adults bought for themselves

I do park parties. Lunch meat and fruit and juice boxes. Plus cupcake cake. That way no knife no silver everything finger food.

With my sons first birthday, we had a big BBQ - steaks, burgers, brats, the whole 9 yards. We had a cake and the place we buy our cakes from gives you a free smash cake for baby to enjoy. I think we ended up spending a couple hundred dollars. We had it at his grandparents house cuz they've got an awesome backyard with a big water fall and koi pond so it was really nice!

My daughters first birthday is in 3 and a half months...time flies! ( I am planning to have it at our house because its spacious enough and there isn't near as many people (sad to say - my kids have different daddies and my sons family is in his life but my daughters family isn't around). We are having cake and ice cream, fruit and veggies trays and a sandwich bar complete with different breads, meats and cheeses!

I'm so excited for her birthday, but I'm not!
