Ummmm I was on a preg app called baby bump and it was a lady going through the loss of her cat due to felion aids......this is sorta not funny but with my preg hormones it made me laugh (sorry to the animal lovers)
Cancer and aids appeared in cats and dogs years and years ago.... Cats had aids years before they found it in humans. It wasn't recognized because the strands look different.
@AishaMusa cuz it made her laugh, like she said. I think she understood its seriousness for those who don't think its funny. Yet it can also be considered funny as well. Like, who knew?
I can't hear "feline aids" without thinking of Family Guy so I giggle a little too. Of course it isn't "funny" and how sad for the animal but I guess its a situational giggle.
Some people say it was created in a government lab and injected into homosexuals as a Hep B vaccine. That it was created from combining a sheep virus and a virus found in monkeys. The CDC denies it...
Can feline AIDS be transferred to humans? No. You cannot contract Feline Immunodefiency Virus (FIV). They are different, but similar. Human Immunodefiency Virus (HIV) can't be transferred to cats either.
Cats can get AIDS, leukemia, and herpes. And no they can't be spread to humans, even if you share needles lol. That chick needs to lighten up for real. No AIDS isn't funny nor animals getting it, it's the irony that makes you giggle just a little bit.
Wow I didnt know this! And I feel bad for the kitty. And I giggled too. Its like when you see someone fall and you know you feel bad and it isnt funny but you just cant help not to giggle or laugh
this is interesting but very true. a few years ago I bought an adorable Kitty it was so small and cute and like about a month after having her she got really sick she popped blood and I took her to the vet and she died there. the vet said she had aids and I asked him how if she was still a baby and hadn't started sleeping around yet and he said that they could b born with it if there parents had it. it was sad poor Kitty... but it is crazy and amusing how everything humans get animals could too. its funny how this world works.
Actually when cats have it its called feline leukimia my cat had it and just passed away and he was an indoor cat and fixed so not a "whore" they diagnosed him in 06 when he was about 9 months old and he was given 9 months to live but lived 5+ years after the diagnosis its transfered through salavia also for cats
@steph_due_101611 well the vet said he had feline leukemia and he explained it as the exact same thing as a human having aids so he said its just like aids but in a cat

@chelcie89 feline leukemia and feline aids are 2 different things. Similar but different.
