This is going to be a long three days

My lo one has possibly developed an allergy to something I am eating. I am currently eliminating all dairy from my diet and in three weeks if no changes for the better will take out the top 8.

In the mean time, I have to collect his poop for samples. I have to fill a vile with poop so they can grow a culture to see if maybe he has an infection (praying not) and for three days I have to smear it on a card to check for any hidden blood. A couple of days ago there were specks of blood in his poop but not a lot and I almost missed it so they want to make sure there is no hidden blood.

The thing is, I can't just let him go in a diaper and use it since the diaper chemicals and pee contaminates the samples. So they said to put saran wrap in the diaper and collect from there...

I currently have saran wrap in his diaper but I don't see it ending well lol

If you have ever had to do this what way did you find best with using the saran wrap? I found no help what so ever on google.

I had to collect stool samples on my own poo before and that was hard enough, I can't imagine doing what you're going to have to do. Good luck

The only thing I can find on google is someone saying to put him in a bowl until he goes.... yeah thats what I want to do lmao maybe as a last result

Saran wrap isnt good for your body.

My exes mom told me to put it around my waist to lose flub faster, I looked into it recently & decided against it.

I had to collect a wee sample from my LO after he was born. They put this little bag thing over his willy, it was awful, every time he pooed I had to get it changed cuz it got covered. It took us 36 hours to get a sample! I would just suggest giving him as much nappy free time as you can, you can get pampers change mats which will absorb the wee if he does one and you can just scoop up a poo! Good luck hun!

Or try maybe a grocery bag, cut big enough to be coming out of the diaper, with a diaper over it of course. And maybe use medical tape on some areas in case of leakage.
