When can I start giving him water and how much?

I was told 1 yr old with my 4 month old daughter. A lot has changed since I had my 9 yr old I gave him water at 6 months

I give my lo water. She's almost 4mos. I don't go by what dr says. I go by how i feel. She only gets an ounce or 2 every few days.

^^ right on! Please check with your doctor first. Water poisoning is very real!

I just asked at naliyahs 4 month checkup on tuesday and they say no its not necessary because they get alot of nutrients and water from either breastmilk or formula
