Giving baby water?

When is it ok to start.giving them water? & why?

Only when recommended by doctor. Mine told me half an ounce here and there only when constipated.

My doctor told me an ounce every couple days for constipation and that was when he was one month old.

Yup they don't need water unless constipated then they can have a little but only if very bad and doc may advise it. Otherwise breast milk contains everything they need fore milk more watery and hind more fatty. Presume formula is the same.

I Have to give my lo water after every other feeding my doctor said. I bf but she wont poop fir like 2 or 3 weeks so Yea She was 1 month
