Medicaid and WIC question

My friend lives in Texas and she is going to go see her grandma to California. Her question is if she will be able to use WIC and medicaid while she is there. She doesnt know for how long she will be there since her grandmother is very ill.

I don't think the WIC can be used out of state, but medicaid can be used in an event of an emergency. Tell her to call thr WIC and Medicaid office to find out for sure.
