how do you keep food warm?

I tried my lo on cereal today she took two small bites and spat most of it out lol I guess she's not as ready as I thought. I have a question though how do you keep it warm? after not even 5 minutes it was ice cold

Warming stone. Heat it and set the bowl on it. Make sure the bowl is ceramic or think glass.
