I drank a beer last night for the first time since I've had my baby b/c he was asleep I felt ok to do it but about 15-20 minutes later he wakes up n starts screaming cause he's hungry. I wait til I get home, n drink 2 full glasses of water n nurse him. but today he has slept literally all day. he wakes up to eat n goes right back to sleep. n I have been worrying all day.

1 beer is fine. He's probably going threw a growth spurt. My lo has days like that and she's 4 months. Plus at 2 1/2 weeks they sleep a lot normally. Hes fine

hes not one to really sleep alot though so thats what worried me n thanks

Your fine. I've been told by a lady at wic that does the brest feeding that's it's ok to have a beer not to mention they recommend it if you need to make more milk but they recommend like ol'doles or whatever they are the ones that have like 5% alcohol in them or as they call them nonalcoholic beers.... It's the brewers yeast in them. I think your lo will be ok!

Your coming up to a 3 week growth spurt, I wouldnt be worried. I have a beer regularly on a weekend and im just careful with timing its never effected my lo
