Mother in law in my casa

Im back at work and my MIL is always at my house when im not there. This may sound like a stupid vent but here it is. She washes our clothes and cleans up stuff. When im doing things i get the am before work she ALways offers to do it and pushes me to leave. Im very independent and dont like ppl touching my stuff (i wouldnt even let my mom clean or wash my clothes) she wasnt even there w/ me when i was home alone w/ baby after all my stitches and horrible hemmoroids..so why now. I feel like it should be left for me to manage my own home and of i need help i will ask...sorry for the long vent. I knoe she means well but its frustrating to me. She even checks my stepdaughterd back pack like her dad n i arent making sure she gets her stuff done uggh

    Have you tried telling her how you feel? Maybe be nice & tell her you appreciate all her help but it would make you feel like a better/stronger woman to do it by yourself, even though you realize it will be harder on you. Ask her how it would make her feel if her mil (or any other woman) came to her home and took over. I dont know, mils are difficult to deal with sometimes. Good luck hun!

    I completely understand, mils should respect our space and learn that if we needed help we would ask x
