My peds told me to only use organic foods when making your own baby food because the non organic whole fruits and veggies have a higher concentration of pesticides & chemicals (higher than jar food) that are bad for their kidneys & liver?! Have u heard that too?
Id your LO BF right now? If so I read that you can start with fruits bc they have similar sweetness to breast milk. I am going to do bananas, apples, sweet potatoes, peas in order of sweetness. Also when you do apples make sure it's a low acid type..like golden delicious. And ALWAYS make sure to do organic.
U can do avacados, bananas, mango's, lentils, pureed turkey/chicken, wild rice, pears, green beans, sweet potatoes w/ cinnamon ...just be careful to not give too much bananas in the beginning because they can cause constpation
