Im going ti get my hair cut since its been over a year. Plus my hair is falling out by the hand fulls. I need sone kind of of style. I dont want to cut all my hair off. Also what is the best box of hair dye. Im going to attempt to dye my own haie

Yes lol. My hair goes to the bottom of my shoulder blade. I would like for my hair to be at my shoulders if not little past. I 9have round face. My hair is super super thick. I have thought about color since im doing it i would like a light light brown. My hair is more of a dark brown. I might just add some peekaboo highlights @Starrxoxo9

Ok I would suggest cutting to the length you want and adding some long layers. Not too many around your face though, because it will make it appear more round. Maybe try a longer side swept bang too. As for the color, I don't really recommend lightening at home. Too many things can go wrong lol. Going darker or just changing the tone is a lot easier. Do you have any artificial color in your hair now or is it all natural? On a scale of 1-10, 1 being black and 10 being very light blonde, how would you rate your hair color now?

At thw root its natural. I have sone blonde and redish tint towards rhe bottom from where i dyed my hair this really pretty reddish Burgundy color dec of 2010

Well if you go darker, all that old color will be covered up and your hair will be even. If you go lighter, it will still be there unless you do highlights to blend it.

I dye my hair all the time mostly alburn colors, if u want to lighten your hair you should do what @bexiewexie says because it might come out different shades possible orange since you still have some red. better be safe than sorry

Thanks ladies i will post pic of my hair later. I got my hair trimed with some long layers and some triangle highlights. She also teased my hair and put highlights in. I believe she said she put Carmel and some other blonde color to even it out. Oh she did a damn good job on my eyebrows. I feel like a brand new woman:)
