nipple stimulation

HAS ANYONE TRIED IT AND GOT ANY RESULTS IM 37 +5 AND 1CM I JUST PUMPED 20 MIN ON EACH SIDE AND GOT 2 OZ BUT NO CONTRACTIONS YET. LET ME HEAR THE STORIES OF THOSE WHO TRIED IT

    I managed on the first couple of occasions to pump and got a few contractions but nothing lasted long and each subsequent time nothing happened!

    Nothing works unless your body and baby are ready. My first midwife explained to me that when your body is ready to go into labor, a hormone is released from both the mother and the baby. Nothing can substitute that chemical.

    Nipple stimulation is very effective, but usually only when a woman has a stalled labor and/or is in early labor already :)
