dumb doctor!

I'm so mad! My daughter started getting a cough and runny nose, she started getting a little better then she started getting fevers, pulling at her ears and just wasn't herself.. well Friday I checked her temp it was 103 so we went to the ER I told the doctor her symptoms, that I was sure she had thrush and she was exposed to rsv...he looked in her eyes and ears then said she is fine don't come back her unless her temp is 104-105 he was in the room maybe 5 min at the most, her symptoms were getting worse she kept crying pulling at her ears so we took her to urgent care, the doctor checked her ears and discovered double ear infection she looked in her mouth and she has thrush, but her throat looked fine, we told her what happened at the ER she told us that he was wrong for treating us like that, and even if her ears didn't look infected he should have ran more test because of her symptoms, how long she had been sick and her being exposed to rsv...
I just need to vent I just can't believe how rudely we were treated and how nothing was done to help my daughter! She was sick and in pain and he didn't want to be bothered to do his job..I will be writing a complaint to the hospital.
They also did the samething to my cousin with her son he pooped blood they sent him home, turns out he had blockage and tearing in his bowels, she took him in because he was having trouble breathing they said just a cold turns out he had bronchitis and ear infection...my aunts mother in law took her husband they sent him home come to find out he has stomach cancer...

Maybe that's a sign to not go to that emergency room? Sorry for your luck! Not every doctor is vigilant unfortunately.

We have a hospital like that here, needless to say i don't go there anymore, id drive 45 mins out of the way to avoid that hospital
