  • I remember I wanted to sooooooo bad after my second csection, I think I was having bath with drawals haha (this is making me want to take one right now). I waited two weeks, I didnt care anymore I was like o well if it gets infected I will just get meds, pretty dumb but I wanted a bath. I waited two weeks and took a nice long, hot, one and then made sure I just stood up and showered really good after and cleaned the incision. Dont shave in the tub though bc of the hair getting in it, mine never got infected though and everything was fine.
  • I was able to take one the next day...the water felt soooo good over my incision :D
  • Oh whoops...I think I got my bath & shower mixed up lol, yeah I didn't take a bath for almost 4 weeks
  • I dudnt take one for 6 weeks. I was paranoid my tub wasnt clean enough & it would get infected. Id seriously wait if I were you
  • I was told not to until I quit bleeding.

  • I didn't take a bath for like 2 or 3 weeks only showers I was afraid of getting infected

  • @HomeBirthAdvocate wow the advice in UK is the opposite, at least it was for me after a vaginal birth, they ran me a bath maybe 2 hours after delivery at the hospital & advised me to bathe at home as well
