@mommyof3girls thankyou! I work with two men who are autistic and I know the care they require. Their parents are too old to take care of them. Thats why they are in my group home. 24 hour a day staff, plus medical expenses and housing expenses is VERY expensive. Thanks again for signing!

@landynplus1momma thank you. That means a lot. I didnt know anyone, or have experience with anyone who was autistic until I started my current job a little over a year ago. It didnt take long for me to see how amazing they are, and also the amount of care they require. When I saw this petition, I knew right away it was important to get the word out. Im just doing what I feel is right. YOU are amazing hun, not me. But thank you

Signed. My uncle is autistic and has been in a care facility his entire life due to its severity. He's not comfortable with change and likes what he knows, so it's important to keep things like this going. We should take care of those who can't care for themselves...not people who don't WANT to care for themselves.

@rtmommy I completely agree. The men I work with like & NEED routine. My company almost went under last year when funding was cut. Luckily that didnt happen but if it had, these men would have been lost.
