So I went in today to get my progesterone levels checked. Stupid doc didn't have the order in, so I had to go ask the front desk if she wanted me to take the test this cycle or not. The receptionist goes to ask the doc and comes back all snotty like asking if it was cycle day 21 today. I said yes, why would I be asking for the test otherwise... (which, in all reality it's CD 23... thats a whole nother story of stupidity on my doctors part though... assuming I have a 28 day cycle) SO she said well the doc put the test in but she wanted me to tell you she won't be calling you with the results. UM... EXCUSE ME??? Why the F would you NOT call me back with my levels?!?! Progesterone is what supports the baby until the placenta can take over! So if it's LOW, b**** I WANNA KNOW! If it's low, and she doesn't do anything like she HASNT THE LAST 2 TIMES.... I'm gonna lose ANOTHER baby. I'm so flipping pissed off right now it's not even funny. What kind of doctor says she isnt gonna call a patient back with results that are fairly important in the baby making world?!?!?!?!??! This is AFTER she has told me to not ask questions and stop googling things (Cause I asked her why she preferred I take clomid on CD 5-9 instead of CD3-7... just outa curiosity). Are you KIDDING me?!? Oh, and after she said that the chemical pregnancy wasn't really a baby. (which I understand, its not developed, but it was still a pregnancy, however short). I'M SO LIVID!

If this cycle does not produce a viable pregnancy, I get referred to an infertility specialist. I thought about going in and demanding a new doctor right there but seeing as how I'm 5DPO already, I don't know what a new doc could really do. I'm seriously at a loss as to what to do. I hate being treated like this. I hate being in the military sometimes bc of shit like this. I know being in the military, I'm trained to do as I'm told... but NOT WHEN IT COMES TO THIS!!! UGH! So I'm filing a complaint and see where that goes. She went to far this time by saying she was refusing to call me back with results. @jennalynn87 @littlenat86 yeah I'm thinking of calling and forcing her to tell me my results anyway. Or requesting a copy of my medical records.

like, how RUDE can a doctor be! It's not like I've been trying to have a baby for a few months and I'm just an impatient person... it's been 2 friggin YEARS now. Give me my answers!

TELL the doctor that your filing a formal complaint against her, that may just galvanise her into doing something. Its so hard to get people to listen, hope you get your sticky baby soon hon. xx

Just request your medical records with the test results. They cannot legally refuse to give you your records and results. That is your right as a patient. So in a few days, I would go into the desk and request a copy of your result...that can't refuse it!

I filed a complaint with patient advocacy. And yes @captivated @sophiasmom11 I will be requesting my medical records. I'm done with this doctor and her bullshit. Telling me to stop asking questions... f you... ~X( :L

@mom2ing Not to mention that whole patient bill of rights thing that says I have the right to know how my treatment is going and all that... the right to know results and crap. OMG I'm seriously fuming still. I've put up with enough from her.

Patient advocacy get $hit done!! If someone files with them in my hospital, everything is happening to fix the problem. If your doc is really that useless, you CAN file a complaint with the medical board. Being military won't save her ass in that situation. It's still a "real" doctor. You could even write a report about your treatment to JHACO. There's a ton you could do to raise hell, regardless of military status. Give 'em hell hugs, btw. Your doc is an asshole. :þ

@rtmommy the process is started. The patient advocacy lady is calling the head of the department tomorrow about it and I should get some answers. And hopefully better care.

No, I don't mean it that way. I just mean you gave your doc plenty of chances to make it right and she didn't. So now you're doing what you have to in order to get the care you deserve.
