  • I'm 23 weeks as well. Your pulse looks normal, its around the range of mine. You have a ton more blood to pump than when you aren't pregnant. :)
  • @Fate what u having boy or girl
  • Yes it's normal. Your pressure is normal as well. If you're not feeling palpitations (like your heart is fluttering/skipping/missing beats) no worries. Textbook normal heart rate is 60-100. In pregnancy it can be a bit higher. My resting hr when I was pregnant was about 110-115.
  • I'm having a boy. I'm terrified. Lol. I have never changed a boy baby's diaper. :O
  • @mama082711.. the only thing I feel is my heart beating fast
  • @Fate LOL I think boys are easy I have a boy and now having a other girl
  • @fate I recommend against the pee pee teepee's (if you've heard of them). Lol I thought they were a must-have for diaper changes and turns out, if he peed they just went flying. Hahaha a wipe works *much* better! Diaper changes seem quicker to me (I wipe dillon every diaper change). It just gets tricky when they poo and it gets all stuck in their testicle wrinkles and under the weiner haha And come to think of it, I've never really changed that many girl diapers. All my cousins are boys that I babysat as infants...
  • Check your iron levels could be anemic common duri.g pregnancy
  • @mama2fn3 I wouldn't worry too much about it, really. Your pressure's fine, and hr is fine as well. If it's uncomfy for you/you're worried, or you feel like your heart is beating too hard, it doesn't hurt to call the ob. They probably will refer you out to a cardiologist though. They did for me but I didn't go bc I'd already been evaluated by one for the same thing a few months prior to getting preggo and was told everything was okay. I don't advise skipping out on their referrals though lol nurses take great care of others but not themselves haha
  • And @2girls_1boy is right. Anemia can cause palpitations.

  • @sophiasmom11, @mam082711 LOL guys! He's gonna pee on me?!
  • @fate Most likely your husband lol I got dribbled on once in 7.5 months. haha Sean got it like, every diaper change he did....as did the walls...the curtains...the floor...haha I think mommies are just faster (and better!) diaper changers. ;-)
  • @mam082711 You have me worried about testicle wrinkles! :( I guess it can't be any worse than the crevices on a girl, right?! I have lots of girl practice since I have 3. All I ever wanted was a boy and now I'm getting jitters about diaper changes. Grrrrrrr.
  • @fate naaaah lol once you get the hang of it, it's smooth sailing...sometimes the nasty diapers are a little more difficult to clean up cuz of the little wrinkles but really it can't be any harder than the girl parts...plus, with 3 girlies already, you're a diaper pro by now ;-) just remember to cover the wee wee for the first few months and you'll be good as gold. I laughed when people said he'd pee during diaper changes cuz I didn't believe it but it's amazing how much can urine come out of a body so little.
  • Just drink plenty of water but your pulse looks fine
