My 15 year old sister might be pregnant. HELP!

She said that she woke up and she was cramping and that she started to bleed a little and it was really dark not like her normal period. She also said that its not time for her period yet. My father won't let her come to my hose because he said that I live around a bunch of creepers because we live in a crappy trailer park. So I don't know how to get her tested..does this sound like she could possibly be pregnant?

No, not really. Maybe an early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy. She is young and is going to have cycle changes for a while

dont panic. First off, periods at thay age can be early or late for lots of reasons! its not unusual. if she is, and shes cramping and bleeding, she may be having an early MC. theres not much that can be done for an early mc so id suggest keeping an eye on her n seeing how she goes. if the bleeding is getting heavier, shes likely to have passed the baby naturally. thats if she even is miscarrying. it also COULD be implantation bleeding alyhough with my two, that was only like brown spotting and wasnt accompanied with cramps. the only sure way to know whats happening is to take her to the ER, but like i said, i doubt theyl do much for her if shes having an early MC. @jdensma yeah I hope so! I even gave her condoms! I don't condone her being sexually active but when she came to me and told me she was having sex I figured I should at least give her some form of birth control. I couldn't get her actual birth control because that would be crossing the sister/parent line. I didn't want to rat her out because I want her to come to me if she has problems and trust me. I'm sure a lot of women on here think I'm wrong for not telling my parents that my 15 year old sister is sexually active. But too bad I'm not going to be the evil big sister. We have always been close and i'd like to keep it that way. I had the sex talk with her and I even showed her how to properly use a condom. I may be wrong for that but at least I educated her when my parents pretended that she wasn't old enough to know about sex. So whatever she did after the fact is on her. I told her that sex is a grown up action and grown up actions come with grown up consequences. I told her no matter what the guy you are having sex with says you better put on that fucking condom or you WILL get pregnant and your childhood will disappear. She did what she did now she has to deal with it. I will be there for her no matter what the outcome is.

Yeah me too! But I doubt it. The world today sucks. Having teenage sex is like the new fashion trend. We live in NJ and our county has the highest teen pregnancy rate! It's insane. @jdensma

I don't think it sounds like it. I mean when I was that age it was always different and at one point I didn't have my period for a year. But I know you don't want to tell your parents and I would probably do the same thing you did just educate her. But I would use this experience to freak her out. That way maybe next time she will either use the protection or better yet decide to wait until she is older. I would talk to her as if she might be and if she is one she finds out for sure what a she needs to do next. For example tell her she needs to think about how she will tell your parents. What she might want to do. If your parents decide not to help what would she do next. I think it would b a good way to get her thinking since I already told her it is a grown up thing, now she can rally get an idea. Just a thought.

I also agree. My sister did tge same for me. When i was 17. My mom passed away. Its to awkward to go to your dad about that kinda of stuff. So my sis spoke to my dad and she made a appt with the doc and i got setup on bc,tested hole 9 yards

Is she sexually active it couldbe or it could be just general changes in her cycle I started my period at 10 so between that time and 15 I had cycle changes that I did not understand that just came along with puberty good luck

If she's very physically active, sports, running etc her period could be outta whack
I played soccer for 15 years, trained about 6-9x per week, so mime was always weird.
Could you guys go to a mall or something to take a test?

My sister got pregnant at 15. I also had a sex talk (about protection) with her after she told me she was having sex w her boyfriend. I DID tell my parents however they didnt beleive me. A couple months later... She was pregnant. I told my parents in hope that my mom would take her to get on the pill or something. They were in denial. Would probably b a good idea to help ur sister take a test. Could u just go visit her at ur parents and put the test in ur purse or something? Cause if she is, she needs to start taking prenatal vitamins asap. You sound like an amazing big sister. I hope everything works out for the best.

There is a nine year gap between me and my sister. If u don't want to get her the birth control than give her a ride to get it. Getting pregnant at her age will ruin the or at least make the rest of her life difficult. My sister did that and lets just say my mom has a 5 year old when she should be done raising kids.
