Naming help... Can Dawn be a boy's middle name?

Okay here is our dilemma. We are on our last baby, and I was hoping for a girl to give my middle name to (Dawn) since we gave our first daughter the middle name Kate. My name means a lot, and we are having another boy this time. My husband and I love the name Archer, and he wants Archer Dawn so that my middle name (which I'm fourth generation with said name-common or not) will carry on- but I feel it's too girly (and I don't like the spelling Don). Opinions?

I'm honestly okay with something different, entirely. My husband just feels bad that he doesn't want anymore kids, so no chance of another girl. Lol he won't seem to let it go!

Dahn makes me think of Dahm like Jeffery Dahmer.... and my husbands name is Jeff. Haha
