first period question

So I finally got my period after 7m but its REALLY a lot. Well to me. Since I was on BC for so long this us actually my first period in 4 1/2 years so Im kinda worried. I have gone though 1 pad and 2 tampons (on my third) since 6am (Its 5pm now). Is that a lot? How heavy was your first one??

    That's not a lot considering your supposed to change them every 2/4 hours

    @EricaK22 Huh.. my box says 4-8hrs... My periods before I could go 6-8hrs without even filling it up... I use to just wear the 'mini's' but now these are regular and its soaked and clumpy. (Sorry TMI) at 3 hrs or so...

    I think since it's your first period after your after birth bleeding it will be a little heavier. Mine was

    Nope, that's totally normal.

    Time to seek medical attention when you soak one or more pads per hour.

    My first period was effing painful! I felt like I was going to die of cramps. But like capitivated said don't worry until you have that.
