what should i expect?

Im a lil confused i was reading on the internet and it says around ovulation time is best to do it but my dR asked me to go in this friday at cd7??

    It should be done around ovulation and it shouldn't feel much different than a pap smear. Good luck hun!

    I haven't heard of it being done anytime prior to right before ovulation...seeing that is the entire purpose of the test! Lol! The test is already very inaccurate as it is. Doing it at another time of the month seems pretty useless to me :(

    Psh, I can't even get my docs to check for eggs or cysts... I have no idea what that test is or what to expect.

    @captivated I agree, most doctors don't use it because of the inaccuracy.

    I'm surprised your doc is doing it, especially since you're not near ovulation :/

    If I were you, I'd reschedule to a date near ovulation.

    @everyone yes I read n the internet it isn't accurate :/ I guess its cus my Dr is old lol idk I'm gna call them today n ask the Drif he got the days right? I don't think he knows what else to do he is gna check my tubes also but I think its time I start looking for fertility specialist

    I would think that'd be a good idea... he seems like he's at the end of his knowledge possibly. Just ask him for a referral! What about the whole checking the amount of sperm after sex?
