Just read this and thought you ladies might be interested - it shows which brands of sunscreen performed best with UVA and UVB rays

My dermatologist told me last year that anything that says spf over 50 is just a marketing ploy. It's nice to know as someone who had skin cancer at 26 that they are starting to regulate it better.

I really take note of this stuff, I cover my kids and myself! Spray tans all the way for me!

This article actually said 50 is even pushing it and to stick with 30 cause anything higher causes false hope and makes ppl not put it on as much as needed. It also has a list of what not to buy.

i read somewhere that its a law now that they cant lie on the bottle and it has to tell the truth. but i dont remember which magazine i think it was womens health?

So many people don't apply enough sunscreen, and don't reapply often enough for it to be effective!
