Can someone tell me what the dosage would be for my 7 month old. He's 17 lbs. it doesn't say and I can't get in touch with the dr. He's running a small fever from teething. Thank uou
Oh hun o have no idea. If it doesn't say on the label you have to ask your doc and motrin is ibuprofen so its different from acetaminophen probably a smaller dosage. Try maybe to call an on call nurse hotline they help.
Ok just took AJ to urgent care yesterday he is 22.? Lbs and I was told 5 ml of the childrens not infant. Same age but 5 lbs weight diff I think urs would be less of a dosage. You can look up a dosage chart online.
Thank you guys! I finally got thru to someone at Walgreens since its their brand. The Pharmacist said 3ml was good. Poor guy has a fever but no other symptoms. I'm thinking it's his top two front teeth!
Doctor told us older kids r complaining about headaches and sore throats. Hopefully just teeth because this sucks i have not had much sleep in 2 days. Hope he feels better
Lily spiked a fever at 103.8 and I couldn't keep it down. She was burning up! It wasn't until she became lethargic, her respirations were 72/min and her eyes started rolling to the back of her head, that I started to panic. Took her to the ER where her fever hit 104.2. Talk about scary!
She ended up with a nasty cold. Coughing, sneezing, boogies galore and a mild ear infection.

May have caused an elevated temperature, but usually if baby has an actual fever (100.4) it is actually just a coincidence or there was something else going on with the teething and most likely an infection ocurred during the time of teething that resolved itself.
"Fever and nasal congestion are not symptoms of teething and may indicate presence of infection."
