8mo old STILL not sleeping thru the night! Please help

My 8mo old still wakes up 2-3x a night! I dont understand what we are doing wrong! :/ He goes to bed everynight at 7pm and wakes up every 3-4 hours or so for a bottle. He falls right back asleep as he's drinking it but I don't understand why he is still waking up at this age. I thought he would be sleeping through the night a LONG time ago...Any suggestions??

    Maybe try to put him back to sleep without the bottle?? Then he may stop waking up for it. My baby is almost 11 months old and sleeps from 8:30-7 but will still wake up once a night 1-2 times a week. I don't feed her, I just hold her til she falls back asleep.

    Yeah definitely cut out the bottles during the night. Give him his binky instead. My son slept from 915-10 last night lol. I was happy, but usually he wakes up around 830. If he wakes up earlier I just pop in his binky and he's out. I also give him his last bottle around 730 so he doesn't associate a bottle with bedtime. Good luck :)

    @Ezrasmommy he has never taken a binky, I tried to give him one since he was born but he never liked them :( Anything else I can do?

    @BlessedTXMom he drinks about 20-25oz a day of formula, oatmeal cereal once a day and baby food 2x a day.

    Maybe a late bath an a lotion massage an move his bed time up a little an My baby sleeps so good if she gets a bottle rite before bed . Sorry Not much help but thats all I can think of

    Try only water in the bottles at night. Usually a few nights of that will do the trick...not worth waking up just for water lol. :)

    Give em a big dinner before bed, nice and full. My son never slept threw the night till he was like 8 months old to. But I stopped giving him bottles threw the night, I gave.him his bink- until he stopped taking it lol. When my son was little I would put a little bit of rice in his bottle. So try that?

    @rileyandme @candy101 @sophiasmom11 @homebirthadovocate it makes me feel better that my baby is not the only baby in the world who isnt sleeping thru the night at this age, because everyone sure makes me feel like it :)

    @wilsomom I mentioned that to this pediatrician a few months ago because I had heard it from someone else and she said that it was no good to give him that much water or water their formula down?

    Okay so I wen threw theEXACT SAME THING bout drove me to drink not really but anyways peditritan said he KNOWS you will get up with him try switching his room so we did and when he would cry we would go in tere and pat his but bout 4 or. 5mins of that he wouldgo back to sleep so if can switch his room I would suggest that

    My 9mo still does it. Someone posted an article or something on here a while back about kids not sleeping through the night at 6-12mos still. It said it's not actually a bad thing, and they will do it I their own time. I am pretty sure mine it's because she is teething.

    Our 8 month old wakes every 2hrs 3 if were having a good day lol. He goes to bed about 9pm and is awake about 530am. Throw on top of that maybe 2 hours total sleep during the day.

    Anyone want to swap????? Other 2 kids slept through from 3wks old, this child is allergic to sleep.

    What do you do to put lo to bed? I was rocking my lo to sleep every time and she was waking 3-4 times a night to be cuddled. I managed to start getting her to lay down on her side, pat her bum for a min and walk out so the last thing she see before she closes her eyes is only her cot. I was told however they fall asleep is what they need to get them back to sleep every time they wake. So if you give lo a bottle to go to sleep with every night thats what he will want every time he wakes rather than waking and just falling back to sleep. Hope that all makes sense

    Is bad to sleep them with bottle???
    Because that's how I sleep my 15 month old. N he wakes up looking for it but falls right back to sleep.

    @tinka1326 @BlessedTXmom makes perfect sense. To got to bed I put him in his crib and give him a bottle, within a few minutes he is knocked out.

    My daughter when she was that age would only do that when she hadn't eaten much during day. Like @blessedtxmom said try a bigger bottle or maybe give him a couple of crackers or cheerios before bed

    Maybe try giving a bottle in his room but not in bed and when he looks sleepy laying him down without the bottle. Goodluck

    My sons Dr said no night feedings after like 6 months. Jack is 8 months and will wake up 1-2 times just for his paci then he falls right back to sleep.

    We had our first sleep through last night but I still woke at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep lol.
