first foods...help

I think someone posted before the best first foods for baby. My neighbor is going to make my lo some homemade baby food. I'm going to the store tomorrow to buy the fruits and veggies but can't find the post. Can someone please help?

My 9 month old does to actually! My mom said my favorite food was steak when I was a baby! She said I didn't have any teeth but I would gum it to death! @captivated
