He can still get it. Child support has nothing to do with visitation or custody. He will be ordered to submit to a paternity test, your child and you will also be tested, the father named on the birth certificate will have to sign off his name to be removed, mediation will be scheduled if you do not agree with everything he is asking for. You need to file an answer with the court and send it to him, either by process server or certified mail. Unless you have rock solid proof he is a danger to the child the court will issue visitation.
@lucky5 had it correct. He has every right to visitation and he will get it. If he goes for sole, I doubt it because he has not had an active role in child's life.
