birth control options

So what are the options for birth control that arnt 3+ years? More like 6-9 months..? Besides the pill. Like what's the depo shot?

I wouldn't recommend depo to anyone....I just got off of it and even though its only supposed to stay in your system for 3 months it can last for year or longer if you plan on having kids in the near future then u definitely don't want it.

I got off depo bc it gave me terrible mood swings, bad acne, & weight gain...but choose whatever is right for u

Nuva ring maybe? I had an allergic reaction to the plastic so was no good for me but I have heard good things about it

I deft dont want the depo the @tootie08 lol. And do know how long the nubs ring stays in for... Ohh that's the one you put in yourself..? @Tinka1326

Yes you put it in for 3 weeks, take it out for your period for 1 week then insert a new one. The best way I can describe it is it's about the size and thickness of a condom before you unroll it without the tip of the condom there... hope that makes sence. You can take it out during sex if it's not comfortable for up to 3 hours (I think)
