Break Ups?

BD & I are in the process of splitting up. He has offered me a generous 900$ child support every month. Which would help since my hours at work will cut back next month since im starting school. My question is how do we go about this? Cause i told him i want his offer and what he wants to give us every month notorized or something? I'm kind of sad because i never wanted my daughter to grow up in separate homes. I did. It sucked. But i think we need to do this to be happier people. We are in good terms. Any word of advice would be greatly appriecated.:)

It has to be signed by a judge for it to be valid. Like Caroline said, court appointed free mediation. Contact you magistrate and they can tell you the process you need to take to set it up!
