Keep going?
I am 38+3 weeks, in a lot of pain with pelvic pain, hip pain and bh,
I have cramped throughout my pregnancy, pelvic and hip pain I have had since about 26 weeks, and my braxton hicks are so bad have been for about a week. Top right hand side of my back is always sore and my lower back for the past week feels really sore and a weird kinda feeling
Just want to meet him already and stop feeling pains.

Any positive words? Xx

You are almost there!!! Try a hot shower, letting the water hit your back. Tylenol PM & Unisom were my fav on nights when I just couldn't sleep. Oh, and the birthing ball! I rolled my hips on the thing a lot in my final weeks...it reduced hip & back pain.
  • @misskristin I have been trying birthing ball but that bit st top of my back gets so sore, thanks for the advice. X
  • The bath was my best friend with both pregnancies. I had it nice and warm and stayed in as long as I could as often as I could
  • @tinka13269 its getting in and out the bath that's the problem lol good when am in though. X
  • At that point, my entire purpose revolved around crazy attempts to get labor started, pain medication (terrible kidney stones and blockage) And sleeping meds to sleep!! I was miserable.
  • @star1990 I have been taking tylenol and doing pevlic tilt exercises to ease my pelvic pain. letting warm shower water run over my back and hips help as well Good luck hun wont be long till he is here :)
  • I'm 36+2, and was having crazy pelvic pains yesterday..after being in pain for almost all day, I had to go walk and buy some tums for my heartburn..taking a long walk made me feel so much better as crazy as it sounds! Hope you find some relief soon.
  • Try grtting on your hands and knees and arch your back up. A nurse at my clinic swears this helps with hip and pelvic pain.
  • I've also heard what @1stwoodsbaby recommended. Sorry I'm not much help, I didn't know I was even having contractions, it just felt like she was pushing outwards on my stomach and it would get really hard.
  • Yes, hands and knees helps a lot. And the last few weeks are miserable. :(

If it makes you feel any better, you totally forget the whole thing once you have your baby! :) Otherwise we would all only have one child! lol
