Hi! Im over weight and due aug. 21. I was wondering if it was harder finding out babys sex due to extra cushion Im so excited to find out... Next appt is 3/8 and wanted to know is it would be possible to see it then...
Good question.. I would also like to hear an answer to that. My last apt they had a hard time finding the heartbeat and that totally scared me.... Wonder if that could have also been because I am overweight, or simply because of the baby moving...?
Im 21 weeks and overweight. I found out what I was having last week and it didn't take her long to see it was a girl. When I was 12 weeks they couldn't find the heartbeat with the Doppler but said that far along sometimes they can and sometimes they can't. They did an ultrasound to find it and she was nestled by my right hip so that might of had something to do with it. So in my experience id say no.
