Ideas to keep a fridge cold without power

Ok so a week or two ago we managed to pay 330 dollars to fpl, today they knocked on my door asking for 134.41 , money that we dont have til my husband gets pay tomorrow afternoon, they cut off our electricity but i dont want all the food and milk to go to waste, please give me ideas on how to keep it ok til tomorrow afternoon or saturday..

The less you open it the better it will stay colder longer if you dnt open it at all

Keep it closed is the biggest thing. Maybe buy bags of ice to throw in there quickly.

Every time you open it the cold air leaves and hot air gets in

Would one of ur neighbors let u run an extention cord from their place to urs just for the night till u get ur power back on

Maybe put as much stuff as you can into the freezer, since it was colder it should stay colder longer. Or get a cooler with ice.

That seems ridiculous that you were in contact with them, working to pay your bill, and they cut off your power. Ugh! I say ice is the best route too.
