So yesterday my electricity was disconnected and i had the worst day ever, we payed today through a western union since they said it was direct payment.. The payment hasnt gone through so i still have no electricity.. Im frustrated.

Dang girl... Can't imagine going without electricity, gas or water. Now cable, WiFi, cell or a house phone is easy to manage without.

Call fpl..they can't keep your electric off because you have 2 little kids. You can show the guy the payment stub when he gets there as proof.

Ugh i have less than 10 percent Of my battery and i cant call so i can have some charge til hubby gets home from work, i guess is going to be another night Of hell @EricaK22

@EricaK22 i finally got it back yesterday at 1.. I had the two worst nights without it. my poor baby turned 1 and since it was raining and no electricity we were stuck at home.

Actually, not every state has that rule regarding children. Mine doesn't. We had a similar issue, but with gas. Paid one day late and it was over a week before they came and turned it back on. No hot water, no heat...nada.

@captivated yeah they told me is the same 24hr wait for everybody regardless if they have kids or are seniors or are sick.. they all have to wait up to 24 hrs for reconnection.
