I just felt a lump in my breast! :/

It's like a mass, not an exact sphere shape. I'm hoping it's just swollen tissue from the miscarriage. There's NO breast cancer in my family at all. I had similar masses after a breast reduction years ago that took months to go away. I'm also just finishing my monthly cycle if that has anything to do with it?

It could be hormones, but better to be checked out by someone who knows what they're feeling for. Hopefully it's just lumpy tissue...my boobs are super lumpy now that I'm pregnant :P Hormones. Hah

i had a lump in my breast a few years ago.my dr said if it hurts its a good thing..it hurt and ended up just being a cyst that needed to be surgically drained.id make an appt to be safe.

As HBA asked does it move when you touch it, is it a non-moveable hard mass? Cysts tend to be non-stationary and are most common. Anything hard and stationary is cause for concern.

I can't really tell if it moves... It's kinda hard to explain...it's more like an area of my breast is thicker & harder than the other areas...not so much an actual bump or mass or cyst type thing. (like it's not a definite ball type shape) Does that make sense? @mijita @homebirthadvocate
