weaning... need support!

So im weaning my one year old right now. For two days i havent fed him during the day and just during the night. He is very needy and is needing alot more cuddles. I am a emotional wreck about it... i want to wean because im ready to be done breastfeeding.. but how do i help my emotions?

It's like letting go of a relationship, it's hard. What you are experiencing is very normal. Maybe slowing down the weaning may help you adjust and cope better.

I heard to slowly cut them out like one nap at a time replace with milk. If that helps. I'm not weaning yet we have two months I'm ready to be done but sad also the time is coming

I'm weaning too and I give in cause I hate to see her upset that she's not getting the Boob lol...slowly but surely i'm cutting out some feeding times

@roxy weaning means you are getting them slowly off the boob/bottle.

Maybe slowly cut out a feeding one at a time so its not so hard. I think here in the next month or so I'm going to exclusively pump and then nurse at bedtime. I'm so ready to have my boobs back.
