Gender Re-scan Today!
So we went for a gender scan three weeks ago, and the technician thought it looked like another boy. It was still early, so she asked us to come back just to be sure. I liked the idea of Edison having a brother even though we'd sort of hoped for a girl this time, and I figured we could try for a girl in a couple years. (Fun!) We brought the grandparents so they could see the baby moving live on ultrasound. After several minutes trying to get a good angle, she finally paused and said, "I'm so glad you came back today."
It's a girl!!!!
I can't stop smiling. I am so excited to paint her room purple!

@blessedtxmom I hope you get a girl, too! I can't believe you're waiting; I'm so impressed with your patience. I keep saying I want to wait, but I'm too obsessed about getting the clothes and the right colored blankets all ready. Maybe now that we have one of each, if I have a third down the road I can manage to hold out. ;-)
